About Us
Associate Professor Emily Wong leads the Regulatory Systems Laboratory at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.
The lab is largely focused on understanding gene regulatory control, particularly in aging and regeneration, with the use of comparative genomics and novel technologies such as single-cell sequencing.
We design novel interdisciplinary approaches to tackle fundamental biological questions by bridging the insights from computational analysis with wet-lab experiments. Our research is supported by funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Snow Medical Research Foundation.
